Everyone loves feeling fresh and clean — and that goes for dogs and cats as well as their humans.

Regular grooming not only helps your pet feel better, but provides many important health benefits as well, making grooming not only a refreshing treat but also a sensible part of any preventative wellness routine. Both cats and dogs benefit from the way brushing redistributes skin oils and removes both irritants and hot layers of extra hair. A haircut is incredibly important for pets with matted fur as all those mats hold moisture and bacteria next to your pet’s skin and in their ears leading to skin and ear infections. Bathing is another important aspect of grooming because it washes away excess oils that can attract bacteria and allergens, along with dirt, pests and unpleasant odors.

*Please note – we do not groom dogs that are over 100 pounds.

Some pets are not quite as excited about their day at the spa as others.

Since the grooming service is located in our veterinary clinic, we also have access to sedatives and/or full anesthesia as needed to allow your pet to receive the best grooming outcome possible for him/her. In these cases, one of our excellent veterinary technicians will monitor the sedation and perform the groom to ensure the safety of your pet.

We also groom cats – from “brush outs” to “lion-cuts” as desired.

Do you enjoy the experience of washing your pet, but just do not have the space or want to avoid the mess at home? We also have a self-serve bathing area where we supply the shampoo and towels, you supply the pet and the man (or woman) power!
