COVID 19 Concierge Care Protocol at Country Animal Hospital
As COVID 19 continues to challenge our community, we need to make some changes to our current protocols to keep our staff and clients as safe as possible, while still being able to provide a high level of care for your pets.
We are open our regular business
hours. The doors will be locked, but
this is only to enforce our “curbside care” protocol as outlined below.
1. We are limiting access to our hospital to staff only at
this time. Exceptions can be made for end of life care or extenuating
circumstance.
2. When you arrive at
the clinic for an appointment or to pick up medication or pet food, please call
our front desk at 802-234-5999. We will then have a staff member meet you
outside to bring the pet into the clinic or deliver your medication / pet food
to your vehicle.
– If you do not have a phone, please knock on the door or window when you arrive
– Cats MUST be in a carrier for us to bring them into the clinic. If you do not have one, let us know and we can bring one out to your car for you to use for your cat.
– Dogs MUST be on a leash
3. Once inside, our staff will call you to take a history. If you do not have a cell phone, we will open a window to speak with you through it from a distance.
4. Once we are finished with the exam and/or treatments, we will return your pet to you, and you may pay either by credit card over the phone, or by putting cash or a check into the provided envelope.
5. We will continue to offer grooming and doggy daycare services. The staff members responsible for these areas will contact their clients to inform them of their new protocols that will involve no close proximity with another human. We appreciate your understanding.
6.
If you have traveled to heavily infected areas or have a fever or signs
consistent with COVID-19 please let us know so we can appropriately advise you.
We will request you have an alternate person bring the pet in for urgent needs
only.
We understand this is a stressful time for many and appreciate
your support in these efforts so we can continue to provide services. We are commited to continuing to provide our
excellent level of care to the beloved pets in our community, and appreciate your
willingness to follow this protocol to keep us all as safe as possible.
